The Sprawl, lead by Jeremy Klaszus is redefining journalism in Calgary. Jeremy approached me shortly before launching the project in need of some brand identity help and I’ve since stayed on, helping with the visual direction of the company.

Logo Sketches

Stories are broken up into editions which are signalled through updated colours. Since everything is digital, it affords the opportunity to use colours that would otherwise not be possible in print.

The brand was extended and beautifully executed by Morgan Curley and Mackenzie Patterson based on the basic visual language that had been established during the early days of The Sprawl.
